How to make a high-sauce burger
Step 1: Make kimchi bacon jam
I prefer smaller pieces of kimchi, so I cut it into smaller pieces (along with bacon).

Saute the bacon and add pickles and brown sugar, making a delicious, gooey jam.

Step 2: Mix the chicken burger
Mix all the ingredients – I usually do this by hand.

…and form into 4 patties.

Step 3: Fry the burger
I use a baking sheet and like putting a slice of gouda on top. (! !).

Step 4: Assemble the burger
Start with toast, mayonnaise, and burgers. You can also use this incredible hot sauce to increase the kick effect.

Add kimchi bacon jam and cucumber slices.

And finish with a little tangle of cilantro.

Step 5: Devour!

This combination of flavors is my attempt to keep finding ways to eat Teriyaki chicken burgers. I like them. To maintain energy, I used the same basic recipe with a slightly different flavor (hot sauce never disappoints), added pickle bacon sauce (the same one we used to make pickle grilled cheese), and hello. Greetings. One of my favorite sticky, smoky, sweet, spicy burgers was born.
Smell? I mean, what can I say? They’ll surprise you. The chicken burger was a little spicy, but the cucumber and coriander kept it fresh and crunchy. The pickle bacon sauce was smoky, sticky, and sweet, and it had the toppings I wanted for a burger.
Now, I know what you’re thinking-Gouda on a Teriyaki chicken burger? Trust me, it’s a game-changer. That slice of Gouda is like a hidden treasure, adding a rich, creamy element that takes this burger to a whole new level.

Chicken burger: Combine chicken, hot sauce, garlic powder and salt. As the aroma of the seasoned chicken fills the air, form 4-5 burger patties.
To make the burgers: Place the burgers in a large skillet. Add a little avocado oil and fry in a pan until the top is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
To assemble the burger, Toast the bread on a frying pan. Place the burger on toast and spread it with a layer of pickles, bacon jam, greens, and mayonnaise. That’s great.
High sauce chicken burger FAQ
What can I use instead of chicken in a burger?
Beef! Yum!
Can you make this vegetarian/meatless?
“Meat” would be a perfect vegetarian alternative. Kimchi bacon sauce is hard to replicate, but you can start it on kimchi with brown sugar and a little smoked paprika (no bacon) and get the same overall effect.
How long can you keep the leftovers?
I would put those chicken burgers and bacon jams that weren’t eaten during the night in the fridge for another two days.
How to make gluten-free and dairy-free?
For the gluten-free version, use gluten-free bread and gluten-free breadcrumbs! If it’s a dairy-free version, you can omit the cheese.
Can you cook burgers on the grill?
Absolutely!
