Yes, we’re still here, still talking about air-fried chicken, but this time, it’s bowl-shaped, and there’s a new sauce in town.
We ate these chicken bowls for dinner tonight, and Bjork covered his still-warm, juicy golden strips with a spicy Calabrian sauce and declared it the best chicken he’d ever eaten. When I open my eyes in the morning, my first thought is, “Yeah, I’m going to eat that bowl of lunch again today.”
The bowl is like a little symphony—crunchy tomato and cucumber salad, thin red Onions, golden crispy air-fried chicken cut into thin strips, and a massive pile of chewy Banza topped with a heavy Calabrian chili sauce. My mouth is watering.
If you want to downsize and make it easier with fewer elements, go for chicken with dip and salad. Or a chicken in sauce and Banza sandwich.
Or, really, just chicken with dip. The Calabrian sauce is at the heart of it all.
January is a long time, but this bowl has always been one of those super happy meals. I’m excited to eat it, and I feel good about its actual nutrition. Like a meal I look forward to, it becomes the highlight of my day. Your stomach is full, and your taste buds are happy. I hope you like it!
Make these chicken bowls with me
Step 1 Make tomato and cucumber salad.
The toys are on the counter, and the children circle in the air. It’s good. This is just cucumber, tomato, and red onion (please cut it very thin!). Add a little vinegar, olive oil, and salt.

2. Make Calabrian chili sauce.
This magic will last for a few days and give you several rounds of bowls, salads, or packaging. This is great.

3. Cook your chicken.
The sauce and salad are done. Now it’s air-fried chicken. It takes about 15 minutes. (If you’re a vegetarian or vegan, this air-fried tofu is also delicious!)

4. Put some banza in it.
Put your Banza cake or any other carb you like in it. This tomato jalapeno bonanza doesn’t quite complement these flavors but is still delicious.

5. You’re done! Yum!
It’s all piled up there. Depending on their needs, leave some ketchup or pasture for the kids. Now, let’s get started!

Instructions
- Tomato salad: Stir together the tomato and cucumber salad ingredients. Taste and adjust! (If you want to prepare beforehand, place the chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, and red Onions in separate containers in the refrigerator without adding any liquid before serving.)
- Sauce: Stir the sauce well. Taste and adjust! It will be kept in the refrigerator for several days.
- Chicken and banza: Make chicken and banza (or any carb you like).
- You’ve done it! Yum! Assemble, start service! Hi! Good.
